Venture Kids’ mission is to lead children to a deeper understanding of God’s Word and develop a relationship with His son, Jesus, so they can live more like him every day. Venture Kids supports and serves children birth through 6th grade and their families.
The following is on pause until Stage 3 of Governor Holcomb’s “Back On Track” plan. (During each hour on a Sunday morning, we offer Biblically sound curriculum, fun, inviting activities, and worship through music for kids two years through fourth grade. Venture Kids meet in the Children’s wing door #3, which provides a large, bright, secure environment that includes ten early childhood classrooms, a large group room for our first through fourth grades, a large gathering area (complete with the “Mountain” where our youngest Venture Kids can climb and play while their parents visit between services), a Children’s Library, and a 1950’s style diner for our fifth and sixth graders (Root 56) who meet at the 9:30 hour. Our nursery is located close to our Worship Center and provides a fun and bright environment to keep the little ones happy. Our self check-in system provides visual identification on name tags and check-out slips to ensure safety for all of our kids. The volunteer team pour out Christ’s love each week to the children. All of the volunteer ministry team go through training and have background checks to ensure your child is safe.
At the 9:30 Hour we offer ministry for those kids kindergarten through sixth grade with special needs. Our special needs ministry is called, Venture Kids Unlimited. Volunteers work one-on-one with kids in classrooms or our designated room for Venture Kids Unlimited, or a combination of both.)
We look forward to meeting you and your children!

Sunday: Each week the class meets at the 9:30 hour in the Root 56 classroom. Meeting during the 9:30 hour allows students to worship with their families during the 8:00 or 11:00 hours. Each month new teachers come in to share Biblical topics or themes and their own faith.
Several Sunday evenings throughout the year we meet in the Root 56 room to hang out, eat pizza, play games, do a service project some months, and just have fun! All money collected from pizza and pop go towards our Compassion Child Sponsorship.
Activities are planned through the year for Root 56 kids. These activities, aside from being fun, will help strengthen friendships and bonds between the kids as they enter their Jr. High and Sr. High years.
We will have one day trip and one overnight activity to and event specifically designed for 5th and 6th graders! Each spring we attend CIY SuperStart, spending the night at the church! On alternating years we take trips to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.
